    MONACA- 47th District Democratic State Senate candidate Jason Petrella will be attending a labor walk on Saturday, October 4th starting at 8 a.m. at the hall of IBEW Local 712. The walk is being held on behalf of all endorsed candidates in Beaver and Lawrence Counties. In addition to the candidates, IBEW International Vice President Donald Siegel will be in attendance.

    Here is what the People for Petrella campaign has been up to since our last blog post:

    1. We have a new office in Monaca! Come visit us to help out with the campaign and pick up literature and other materials (to be arriving shortly).

    2. The campaign has a new full-time staffer, campaign manager Kyle Mullins. Say hello to him when you come by the office.

    3. Jason has been knocking on doors around the 47th Senatorial District, meeting and listening to people talk about the issues important to them. Please volunteer to join us for a canvass.

    4. Jason has been attending community events in Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties. COMING SOON: Find out when he will be in your area (on our events page).

    Welcome to the newly redesigned PETRELLAFORSENATE.com!

    We will be adding features in the days and weeks ahead, so please check back often. The past few days since Jason won the nomination have been very hectic, what with setting up an office, hiring staff, ordering campaign materials, etc. Now that we are up and running, we will do our best to keep in touch with you.

    Here's how you can get involved:

    1) Stay informed. Enter your e-mail address and zip code at the top right of your screen and click "Sign Up" to receive the latest updates from the campaign.

    2) Volunteer. Fill out the form here and help spread Jason's message to 47th District residents.

    3) Contribute. Small donors like you are the engine of our campaign. Please give whatever you can. Even $10 or $20 allows us to reach a few more voters and push Jason's message of change.
